Clenia Cream
Clenia Cream (Sulfacetamide, Sulfur) Clenia Cream is an antibacterial agent used topically to treat infections of the skin. It's popular in the treatment of acne, rosacea and seborrheic dermatitis. Also Known As: Sodium Sulfacetamide Active Ingredients: Sodium Sulfacetamide-Sodium Sulfacetamide acts as an antibacterial medication used to treat acne, dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis and other skin infections. It should not be used with patients that have a known sensitivity to sulfa drugs. Excessive use of Sodium Sulfacetamide has been known to cause yellow discoloration in treated areas that has nothing to do with jaundice. Sulfur-Sulfur is among the earliest known treatments of acne. Sulfur causes the skin to dry and peel, reducing skin oiliness and keeping pores from becoming blocked. This is particularly important when treating acne, as it allows the medication to get down into the pores for maximum effectiveness. How It Works: Clenia Cream has been proven to show significant results in the treatment of dermatological conditions in one month or less. It is an extremely popular treatment method because it is not alcohol based, as many acne treatments are. It is believed that Sodium Sulfacetamide blocks bacterial growth by competing for para-aminobenzoic acid. Without sufficient resources bacteria is unable to thrive and eventually dies. Side Effects: Patients with a known allergy or hypersensitivity to sulfonamides, sulfa drugs or sulfur should not use Clenia Cream. Individuals with kidney disease should speak to their physician before beginning treatment regarding their condition; Sodium Sulfacetamide has been known to cause adverse reactions under these conditions. More common side effects of clenia cream include localized dryness and irritation. In few cases erythema, itching and edema have been reported. Clenia Cream is a strictly topical application. It should not be ingested or used near eyes, eyelids, lips and other mucous membranes due to the potential for dryness and irritation. If contact does occur, flush the area with water. If stinging and irritation continue, contact a physician to prevent the chances of long term side effects. The safety of using Clenia Cream on patients under the age of twelve has not yet been established in clinical trials. Other Information: There are many other drugs that treat acne very well. In the most extreme cases, Accutane (Isotretinoin) is prescribed. There are a whole host of side effects to this drug and it is very expensive. I’ve seen websites which let you buy generic discount Accutane cheap online and some look legitimate and require a prescription.
